The Federal Government requires the Chamber inform you that: The Chamber is a 501(c)(6) organization; 95% of membership dues is deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense for Federal income tax purposes; that in compliance with the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993, 5% of your membership dues are not deductible as a business expense because it is allocable to lobbying expenditures; contributions or gifts to the Chamber are not deductible as charitable contributions, but may qualify as a business expense; further information on this law should be obtained from your tax advisor; and that Jackson County does have a 501(c)(3) tax deductible Development Association and Community Foundation as well.

I hereby apply for membership and wish to support the goals of the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce. I agree to abide by the Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws and organization’s Ethics Statement. I further understand that my membership must be approved by the Board of Directors and that payment is for a full year.
